Fashion Encyclopedia

Hey hey !! My name is Marilyn, I'm in my 20s, and I kinda love fashion.

While I love clothes and shoes and accessories and shoes and fashion and all things stylish, it's not always the easiest to be up to date on what brands have who as a designer, or who all had shows where during what season and with what styles. That's what I'm trying to help out with.

A couple of years ago, I started my own personal research project where I would not only learn more about fashion brands and their runway shows and photography campaigns, but also do more deep dives into what makes that brand so specific and beloved by their niche. I've not gotten too far, but hopefully having this website inspires me to get back into it!

I do work in luxury retail and live in Chicago, Illinois, so when given the chance, I do try and check stuff out in person or find out more from my more "insider" perspective. I also very very very much love shoes (if you can't tell from my slight hinting up above) so I may go a little shoe crazy if I go in depth about fashion shows, new campaigns, w/e.

If there is a brand that you think would be really intersting for me to look into, or that I should add to the list, PLEASE let me know at my tumblr! I try my best, but the internet is huge and people are creative and I will never ever ever know everything that I want to about fashion. This is also just for fun so if you don't like what I say, or if you think I have terrible taste, keep it to yourself :)
